Are you passionate about digital marketing, SEO, and research? Do you want to gain hands-on experience working on a real-world website project? Oxford Summer Courses is looking for a motivated and organised Website Intern to join our team this summer in Oxford. This part-time, temporary position will run through July and/or August 2025, with a commitment of 3 days per week.
Duration: August 2025 only
Schedule: 3 days per week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: In-office, Oxford (no remote working)
Salary: £12.21 per hour
About the Role
As a Website Intern, you’ll support the ongoing development and optimisation of our website. From keyword research to blog writing and content audits, you'll gain real experience in digital marketing while collaborating with a supportive and experienced web and marketing team
- Please note: this role is office-based and remote working is not available.
Conduct keyword research to support blog and SEO strategies (training provided)
Perform competitor and sector research to identify top-performing topics and features
Write blog articles using clear briefs and editorial guidance
Source and suggest images for articles from our approved image libraries
Review website pages to recommend image improvements (no uploading required)
Audit articles to identify and suggest effective CTAs (e.g., Apply Now)
Conduct competitor website SWOT analyses to identify strong case study examples and propose new ideas for Oxford Summer Courses
Match existing student testimonials to suitable courses or subjects
Assist with internal content documentation and content research
A student or graduate (or someone looking to get started in marketing)
Enthusiastic about SEO, writing, and digital content
Detail-oriented and organised
Clear communicator with a willingness to improve through feedback
Proactive and curious about how websites grow and perform
Mentoring from a friendly and knowledgeable marketing team
Experience with leading SEO and website tools and techniques
Skill development in marketing, publishing, and communications
